Hole in One #4

On November 18, 2009, in Steve's Stuff, by Steve

I had a hole in one today!

Sadly I was playing on my own and had no witnesses to my event, so I thought I would share the news on Weekend Golfers…Hole in One’s don’t happen that often and when they do they’re always worth sharing!

The hole was 175 yard par 3, playing into the wind.  I hit a solid 5-iron, set it about 10 feet right of the flag and drew the ball in.  It landed on the front of the green and rolled about 10 feet straight into the cup.

It took me a second or two to realise before I celebrated, probably best that there wasn’t anyone else on the course as I did my best victory dance.

I know some players can go their whole playing lives without one…I’m lucky, that was my fourth one.  I have never done anything to record the moment before…this time I think I’ll keep the ball.

Happy days.

If you’ve had a hole in one…why not drop us a line, we’d love to hear about it.

PS – Getting a Hole in one is difficult and also has an element of luck to it… Well here’s a video of Vijay adding to the difficulty level.

Here’s a different View….enjoy!
