Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i personal a similar one and i was just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it is driving me mad so any assistance is really much appreciated.

Yes I do get a lot of spam, as do we all. The best way I find to deal with it, is to either just delete it or as in this case I change the link you left to one of my other sites. Quite often when people leave a spam comment and are promoting a product, I will actually ‘approve it’…but only once I have removed their affiliate link.
The sad thing is that you spend time posting the comment, or maybe you got your bot to do it…either way, this site manually approves comments…and guess what, if your name’s not on the list…you’re not coming in.
