Carry Distance Chart

On July 26, 2010, in Work Sheets, by Steve

The Carry Distance Chart is there to help you work out how far you hit the ball with each of your clubs.

So what do you need to do?

  • You need to hit 10 shots with each of your clubs and record the distances of each of those shots.
  • Ignore the two longest shots
  • Ignore the two shortest shots
  • You will then be left with six shots…add up the total distances and then divide that amount by six
  • This will then leave you with your average distance for the club you have used.
  • Do this for all of your clubs to find out how far you hit each one.

The benefit to you is it will make it much easier to know which club you need for a specific distance.

This is an exercise you need to go through at least once a season.

We look forward to your comments and hearing about how many shots this has saved you in your game.
